I don’t see it happening yet. There are too many unknowns with Russia and China and the election. Too many steps up the escalation ladder remain before the all in moment attack, and the attack itself is quite risky from a moral and morale perspective. Iran is too large to pacify from the air and there will be no ground war. Setting fire to the entire region is only in the interest of a minority of the factions within the US. Jordan and Egypt could be lost to the resistance forever and UAE, Qatar, Bahrain could also be put in play. Iran has hinted at their own asym responses which they have clearly built and held in reserve. The moment that the US actually participates will force a new alignment across the entire region and the people are already very unhappy with the complicity of their regimes. On the other hand there may never be another opportunity for Israel to wreck Iran and by extension themselves.
