That “temporary port” next to Gaza you’ve heard about?
Heretical_i, a commentator at Moon of Alabama, picked up on this little bit:
How the US military plans to construct a pier and get food into Gaza
And here's the two honchos at Fogbow, the company selected to “advise” the operation:

It's definitely a preparation for a US military logistics effort. The company is obviously a CIA/Pentagon front.
Consider that if the war expands to Lebanon - which is virtually inevitable - Israel will need military logistical support from the US and Israel’s airports and ports will be under fire from Hezbollah missiles or otherwise inaccessible. Having a port directly on the Med will be somewhat more accessible to US military cargo ships, given the distance away from the Lebanon and unaffected by the Houthis attacks in the Red Sea.
This is what Gantz went to Washington for: to secure US support for the coming Israeli war with Lebanon. The story that he was summoned there by the US as a way to stir up trouble with Netanyahu is likely a cover story.
This means when Israel gets into trouble in Lebanon - and they will - the US will be brought in to bomb and murder Lebanese in support of Israel. Although most analysts believe the US will not dare to put boots on the ground in this event, I believe the US will have no choice but to do so - and there’s no chance that Biden and his neocons won’t be amenable to that.
But the only way to logistically support that will be direct supplies to Israel via that floating terminal - which will likely be massively expanded once the war widens.
There are claims going around that Netanyahu was the one who originally suggested the floating terminal, supposedly as a way to enable Israel to further restrict access to aid for the Palestinians. I think this is a cover story. I think the real motivation for this - and it may well have been suggested by the Israel IDF in concert with the US Pentagon - is as I said above: to provide military logistical support to US forces on the ground in Israel and Lebanon.
Even if US boots on not on the ground in Lebanon itself, one can easily see US troops in Israel. They’re there already as advisers and other functions. While the 2,000 US Marines who were present in the Med on the USS Bataan are returning to the US, it’s not hard to see them redeployed to Israel if the situation deteriorates - as it likely will. They could be used to provide fire support to the Israels in the north against Hezbollah. This would undoubtedly prove ineffective against Hezbollah missile launches from the organization’s underground bunkers - which are also mostly secure against US and Israel air strikes. That will provoke a need for ground troops to enter Lebanon in a full-scale invasion. Whether the US has the capability to sustain such an operation is problematic.
Brilliant
Fascinating and a whole new crop of tidbits in the game of geopolitical ‘connect-a-dot’. Sadly this is grim news indeed for the Palestinians- especially those in Gaza. I understand that the IDF has already bulldozed a road dividing Gaza in two- with its eastern terminus at the soon to be built pier no doubt. This degree of skulduggery transcends the elected governments of USUKIS and must originate within the “Blob+” (add in MI6, Mossad & co, and the big money players in the Oil Patch) Can the Axis of Resistance muster up sufficient boots on the ground to bring these ghouls to heel? Let’s not forget that Al-Aqsa is being
